You Should Attend If:

You need to become an effective process hazard analysis (PHA) Team Leader, and to know how to select and apply the various PHA methods.

This includes how to prepare for PHAs, how to ensure compliance with current U.S. regulations related to PHAs, and how to conduct and report PHAs. Engineers and other technical professionals who play important roles in their organization’s management of process safety are also encouraged to attend this course.

You Can Expect To:
• Learn how a PHA can be structured to meet OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Discover how to effectively lead any of the PHA methods.
• Gain a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts and methodology of the HAZOP Study.
• Learn tools and techniques for analyzing scenario risks and determining the adequacy of safeguards, including safety instrumented systems
• Get up to date on the new Third Edition contents of CCPS’ Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures.
